SNL Plummer block housings are suitable for self aligning,spherical roller bearings and CARB bearings for shaft dia 150 to 340 mm. These housings are split type with 4 elliptical holes in housing base and suitable for grease or oil lubrication.For Grease lubrication variety of seals such as felt seals (TC Type),Labyrinth Seals (TS Type),Double Lip Seals (TG type) or Taconite Seals (ND Type)can be used.For oil lubrication special type of seal (TURU type) can be used.Principal dimensions are identical to SNA/SNH type housings and are interchangeable.SNL housing are available with 4 elliptical slots in the base designated as FSNL or 2 drilled holes in the base with suffix MS1 or 4 drilled holes in the base with suffix MS2. These housings can be used for located bearing by inserting Locating rings on either side of bearing.

BND type plummer block housings are one-piece design suitable mainly for drive pulley of belt conveyor. Their application is equally acceptable in other industries where load direction is varying. They are used with spherical roller bearings with grease lubrication. Housing ae suitable ofr bearing mounted on adapter sleeve or directly on the shaft. Normal size ranges from 80 mm to 420 mm shaft diameter. For larger shaft size, customized plummer blocks in BND design can be provided. BND type have preferred usage in:

BND plummer blocks are very heavy duty type and reliable in sever loading condition in varied directions.

MONL type Plummer block housings are redesigned and simplified version of SOFN housings. As a result MONL series are totally interchangeable with SOFN type since both the types have similar general dimensions. However the inside construction and external features are improved in MONL type to make it simple, easy and faster in maintenance as well as stronger and efficient in application.
MONL type is split design suitable for oil lubrication having oil inlet hole, oil level indicator and oil drain facility. MONL housings can be used with self-align ball bearings in 22 series and spherical roller bearing in 222 series with either a cylindrical or tapered bore. The shaft diameter ranges from 75 mm to 240 mm; larger sizes are available up on request. MONL housings are available in cast iron; and upon request they can be available in cast steel or ductile iron also.
MONL housing construction has cap and base assembled with four high tensile bolts. Larger oil cavity is at inside bottom for splash oil lubrication with the use of oil pick up ring; oil level indicator and oil drain are provided in the set. Threaded connections are provided for external oil circulation pump as well as fitment of external oil cooling system. On two sides of bearing, sealing collars are provided for sealing purpose. Air breather is provided on the top of the housings to avoid accumulation of oil-mist formation inside the housing.

SDG type plummer blocks are split housings suitable for spherical roller bearings with adapter / withdrawl sleeve or directly mounted o shaft. The shaft size ranges from 125 mm to 710 mm. This housing type has only one end cover fitted on one side, inserted in circular groove in the housing bore. For large housing, alternative arrangement dan be provided for fixing the end cover to sthe side of bearing housing using high tensile bolts.

For proper alignment during mounting of this type of plummer block housing, the housing feet have machined side faces which can be used along with stop and wedge for correct positioning. the plummer block assembly.

This bearing housings are used for bearing with grease lubrications. SDG type are preferred for heavy duty application like in mining, cement industry, steel industry, etc.

In addition to being horizontally divided, "PRE" SNH series plummer blocks are completely interchangeable with those of previous SN and SNA series plummer blocks.
The SHN series plummer blocks also have all the features of standard and special shaft seals, including interchangeability with the 500 and 600 series for bearings with tapered bore and adapter mounting or with (straight) cylindrical bore, etc.Compared to Plummer Blocks from the SN or SNA series, its superior design and more advantageous cross section have led to increased strength.
SNH plummer blocks have dowel pins at its mating surface to ensure correct assembly of base and caps are not interchangeable.Like SNA series,the plummer blocks of SNH series are also supplied with standard shaft seals e.g. Felt seals {TC} or V Rings (TA) or V Ring on one end and End Cover on other end (ATA.)Special shaft seals such as Labyrinth seals (TS) or double lip seals (TS)or double lip seals (TG),taconite seals (ND) can also be supplied against orders.

SNT Housings are very heavy duty housings and made of cast steel. They are primarily designed for self aligning ball bearings and spherical roller bearings mounted either directly on shaft or on adapter sleeve.
Type:
SNT are split housings, the dimensions confirm to ISO-113. They are interchangeable with SNH housings because of similar overall dimensions, whenever there is heavy duty load application .The housings can be supplied with end cover for closed shaft application. Normally supplied for non locating bearing arrangement. However separate locating ring (FRB) can be ordered for locating bearing application. SNT..H housings are designed for grease lubrication. Recommended initial grease fill per each size is specified in the table. Suitable grease nipple provided in each housing.
Seals:
SNT housings are normally supplied with felt seal (TC),however they are suitable for double lip seal (TG),V ring seal (TA).labyrinth seal (TS).
Eye Bolt:
An eye bolt are provided for shaft size 110 and above.
Materials:
SNT housings are available only in cast steel material.

SPA type plummer block housings are one-piece design used for mounting take-up pulley in belt conveyor application. The yoke portion allows the connection with the tensioning block with a pin and tightening screw. The housing is guided on rails in the conveyor frame; suitable guide slots are provided in SPA type housings. Sizes vary from shaft diameter 50 mm to 360 mm.

Genarally SPA take-up units are used as located bearing arrangement because longitudinal shaft expansion or variation of frame is compensated by clearances available berween rail and guiding slots. However, as per customer’s requirement,located and non-located type arrangements can be provided.

SPA type used to take high load with shock/impact loading at lower speed. They are sturdy and easy to mount for belt pulley assembly. Typical use is for conveyor pulley in material handling industry.
